Turkish Exports Achieve More Than $125 Billion In First Half Of 2024

Ankara: The total value of Turkish exports increased during the first half of this year, reaching $125.4 billion, an increase of 2 percent, compared to the same period last year.

The Turkish Exporters Union said, in a statement on Wednesday, that the value of Turkish exports during the month of June amounted to 18 billion and 600 million dollars, compared to 24 billion and 66 million dollars last May.

The statement explained that the automobile industry came first in the value of Turkish exports with $2.6 billion, followed by the chemicals sector with $2.3 billion, then the steel sector with $1.3 billion.
