Russia Strikes At Kharkiv: Houses And University Dormitory Damaged


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) A Russian strike on the afternoon of June 27 damaged a dormitory of a higher education institution and residential buildings in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv.

This was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Telegram , Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy is again destroying the educational infrastructure of the city. Today's strike hit one of the buildings of a higher education institution in Kharkiv," the post reads.

Later, Terekhov clarified that several houses and a university dormitory were damaged.

"The Russians hit private houses. Some of them [houses] are destroyed. Preliminary, a dormitory of one of our universities was also damaged. There was no information about the dead and injured," the mayor said.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, wrote on Telegram that the blast wave also damaged the windows of two buildings of the university. There were no casualties.

The explosions in Kharkiv were heard around 3:50 pm.

As reported, as a result of the Russian strike on June 26 on Derhachi, Kharkiv district, 12 people were injured and 65 houses were damaged or destroyed.
