(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, June 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al-Meri praised his country's "historic" relations with Jordan, saying ties have made continued progress over the years thanks to the efforts of the two countries' political leaderships.
Conveying the greetings of Kuwait's Amir His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti diplomat and Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah agreed amid talks on the need for even more headway in bilateral relations.
The talks also covered current happenings around the region, in addition to matters of mutual concern, the envoy told KUNA, citing that more than 73 bilateral deals had come to fruition since diplomatic relations began in earnest back in 1961. (end)
