This summer, Qatar National Library is offering a variety of engaging programs for children.
The "Storytime for Children" series runs until August 26, with sessions on select dates in July and August, promising amazing summer stories and collaborative storytelling.
For Arabic-speaking children, the "Najem Es'hail Bookclub" takes place on July 8, 15, and 22, aiming to nurture a love for reading through educational and fun weekly sessions.
The "Little Storytellers" program, held on specific dates in July and August, offers children the opportunity to learn expressive reading from a professional storyteller, with a focus on summer vacation themes.

Ladies only activities

A ladies only camp at Multaqa is designed to encourage athletic development, teamwork and self-confidence among women and girls ages 6-30, offering sports like football, basketball, and volleyball from July 1-31.
Similarly, Ladies Night at Education City Stadium offers a wide range of sessions, with activities such as spinning classes, table tennis, boxing, and ability friendly activities.
The next session will take place on August 5, for those aged 6 upwards.
Mukhayamna sports camp

Awsaj Recreation, Education City
Fostering personal growth and teamwork through a variety of sporting activities, the camp encourages participants to enhance their skills, develop coordination and build resilience in a supportive and competitive environment.
Camps include ART Camp, Sports Camp and Skills Camp for boys and girls ages 5-6 and 7-13, and Leaders Camp and Quantum Camp for those aged 15 and above.
The camps take place on various dates dependent on location between June 30 – August 15.

Football Camps

Designed for young football enthusiasts, the 2024 camps are focused on skills development, teamwork, and having fun on the field.
Taking place at Multaqa, Tariq Bin Ziad School, Qatar Academy Al Wakra, and QF's Recreation Centre, the camps take place on various dates dependent on location from June 30 – August 30.
QSFAF Sport summer programs

Qatar's Sports for All Federation (QSFAF) is launching its 2024 summer program, running until August 3 across various locations in Doha.
The initiative comprises four programs offering sports and recreational activities for diverse age groups and genders.
Key features include daily activities for men and women aged 7-65 at different parks and sports facilities, a weekly free karate class for women at Al Luqta Park, a four-month sports gathering for women at Education City, and daily activities for children aged 6-10 at Lusail Gym.
Aimed at promoting proper exercise techniques and sports awareness, the programs utilize sports clubs, youth centers, and public parks to ensure widespread community access.
