New Batch Of Humanitarian Aid For Ukrainian Military Sent From Latvia


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Under the coordination of the Embassy of Ukraine, another humanitarian aid shipment for the needs of the Ukrainian military, which was collected by Latvian volunteer and charitable organisations, was sent to Latvia.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the facebook page of the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia.

According to the report, the funds raised by the STOPIFY charity initiative were used to buy a Toyota HiLux SUV, drones, thermal imaging devices, night vision devices, tablets, dry rations and other necessary equipment.

The staff of the state-owned company Latvenergo donated powerful power banks (30,000 mA), and the Latvian Hunters' Association donated canned game meat. Latvians from Latgale also donated optical devices to Ukrainian soldiers.

Ambassador of Ukraine Anatoliy Kutsevol, head of the Ziedot charity foundation Ruta Dimanta and co-founder of the STOPIFY initiative Marcis Mikelsons-Germs took part in the aid delivery event.

"We are sincerely grateful to our Latvian friends for the constant assistance provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale war," the embassy said.

Earlier, Latvia sent computers for schools and vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
