KUNA Launches Media Training Program For Children June 23


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) announced on Thursday the launch of a media program for children on June 23 until July 4 with the aim of introducing the young ones to the media profession and journalism.
On this occasion, Director General of KUNA Dr. Fatma Al-Salem revealed in a statement that registration for the program would start on June 11, focusing on children between the age of 9 and 12.
She indicated that the KUNA junior club would organized the program, noting that participants would receive journalistic training as well as holding sessions to improve language and analytic skills.
On her part, head of marketing in the marketing and international relations department Lamya Al-Farsi affirmed that various media disciplines would be taught during the program.
Skills to discern false from real news in addition to AI application would also be included, she revealed.
