It is a great honorfor Azerbaijan to host COP29, Deputy Foreign Minister, LeadNegotiator of the event Yalchin Rafiyev said during a TrainingWorkshop on Building confidence and capacity in the preparation ofBiennial Transparency Reports under Azerbaijan's COP29chairmanship, Trend reports.
“Azerbaijan's choice to host COP29 stems from our deepconviction in the potency of international collaboration to tacklecomplex global challenges. Being chosen as the host nation forCOP29 is a privilege we hold in high regard, coupled with aprofound sense of responsibility. Understanding the interwovencomplexities of climate challenges, we firmly believe that throughfostering global cooperation and dialogue, we can collaborativelyforge impactful solutions,” he stressed.
