Azerbaijani And UAE Ministers Go Over Climate Change Convention Particulars

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 17. Azerbaijani EnergyMinister Parviz Shahbazov and Minister of industry and AdvancedTechnology of the United Arab Emirates, President of COP28 SultanAhmad Al Jaber, have discussed topical areas of cooperation in AbuDhabi, Trend reports referring tothe Azerbaijani minister's X.

"We talked about concerns on the COP28 agenda and thecontinuation of their solution in Azerbaijan at COP29. The UAE isprepared to provide all types of support to Azerbaijan during itschairmanship at COP29," Shahbazov emphasized.

According to him, additional subjects included the Ministry ofEnergy's collaboration with strategic partners Masdar and ADNOC onthe Absheron gas condensate project in the Caspian Sea.

"The possibility of building production facilities in the greenenergy sector, expediting the construction of power transmissionprojects, and extending collaboration in the extractive industrywere reviewed," the publication reads.
