Startup Karkhana Secures $6.3 Million In Funding Round


(MENAFN- KNN India) Mumbai, Jan 9 (KNN) Mumbai-based startup Karkhana announced on Tuesday that it has successfully raised $6.3 million (approximately Rs 52 crore) in a funding round led by Arkam Ventures and Susquehanna Asia Venture Capital, with participation from existing investor Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India.

The freshly acquired funds are earmarked for strengthening the supplier base, optimizing the Electronics supply chain, and fueling expansion efforts in the US and Europe, according to Sonam Motwani, the founder and CEO.

Karkhana's strategic vision involves engaging with 3,000 MSME suppliers over the next three years.

The startup specializes in delivering flexible and scalable manufacturing solutions to small businesses, operating within a vast network of over 400 MSMEs.

Notably, Karkhana collaborates with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across diverse product categories, including electric vehicles, medical equipment, consumer electronics, and aerospace.
