(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, Oct. 25 (Petra) -- Jordan Post Company (JPC) has unveiled its latest seasonal offering, allowing customers to ship olive oil cans from Jordan to destinations worldwide.
This convenient service is accessible through various post offices situated throughout the kingdom, with operations commencing as of Tuesday.
A statement by the JPC on Wednesday said that the cans must be iron metal and tightly sealed. Upon receipt, a specialized team will wrap the cans in custom-made wooden boxes for shipping, ensuring utmost protection and adherence to the highest quality standards.
Additionally, it indicated that the prices for all Arab countries are set at JD99.90, while for the United States, Canada, and other nations, the price is JD130. These prices include general sales tax, fees for the wooden box fees, and insurance for the cans.
It is worth noting that Jordan Post introduced this service, along with other transportation-related services, in 2007 to facilitate citizens in transporting their belongings such as furniture or agricultural products within and outside the kingdom.
