After leaving the battlefield, IDF soldiers face numerous challenges as they grapple with the unimaginable experiences they've endured. Their ability to function, take care of themselves, and interact with others is severely impacted. While the government in Israel provides some assistance, wounded members of the Israel Defense Forces receive only the bare minimum to survive. Many suffer from PTSD or debilitating injuries that render them immobile and unable to work. With hospitals currently overwhelmed with patients, Belev Echad converted their facility in Israel to a rehabilitation facility to help the wounded. Their team has been visiting multiple hospitals every day, reaching out to thousands of wounded soldiers, and creating emergency care packages to help them with their basic essential needs.
Currently, there are 50,000 wounded soldiers in need of food, medical care, and psychological assistance. Belev Echad provides the necessary support to meet these necessities and urgently needs help to save the lives of wounded IDF soldiers.
