Doha, Qatar: Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), an apex body under the aegis of Embassy of India, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, recently organised a blood donation camp at the Asian Town, Industrial Area. The community's response was overwhelming to support this noble cause.
The ICBF blood donation camp witnessed a large number of eligible donors selflessly stepping forward to donate blood, contributing significantly to saving lives and addressing the constant need for blood in medical emergencies.
The event's official functions commenced with the presence of Dr. Vaibhav Tandale, First Secretary of the Embassy of India, Qatar, attending as the chief guest. Boban Varkey, the General Secretary of ICBF, expressed gratitude to all the participants and donors for their support. Mohammed Kunhi, ICBF Secretary and Blood Donation Convenor, highlighted the camp's purpose and the importance of blood donation. ICBF President Shanavas Bava emphasised the significance of such blood donation initiatives and ICBF's commitment to conducting various community programmes each month.
