Jordanian Furniture Industry Looks To Boost Trade With Pakistan

Amman, July 24 (Petra) -- Representatives from Jordan's syndicate of furniture, manufacturers and traders met with the commercial attache at the Pakistani Embassy in Amman, Khadim Ali, to explore new avenues for bolstering trade and investment in the furniture, carpets, and fabric sector.
The attache highlighted the significance of attending specialized trade exhibitions to promote greater commercial exchange, including the upcoming 39th World Exhibition of Carpets in October, and the furniture and textiles exhibition that will be held in May next year, as indicated in a statement by the syndicate on Monday.
Ahmed Junaidi, president of the syndicate, emphasized the importance of taking part in trade expos between Jordan and Pakistan, noting that the union will invite the sector's workers to learn about the value of such events and encourage their participation.
The syndicate spokesperson, Ahmed Al-Helu, indicated that the coming period will witness many activities and meetings with the commercial attaches, with the aim of revitalizing the sector.
