(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 19. The region's largest
event - Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX) will be
held on September 24-26, 2024, Caspian Event Organisers company
told trend .
Next year, the ADEX will mark its fifth anniversary. In parallel
with it, the 14th International Exhibition for Internal Security,
Safety and Rescue Equipment (Securex Caspian-2022) will be held.
Both of the events will be organized at the Baku EXPO Center.
The ADEX exhibition is held on the initiative and with the
organizational support of the Ministry of Defense Industry and the
Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. The organizer of the exhibition
is Caspian Event Organizers.
The Azerbaijani state pays special attention to strengthening
the defense capability and ensuring the national security of the
country, and the expenditures related to these areas remain the
main priority expenditures of the state budget.
In 2022, more than a billion manat ($2.9 billion) was allocated
from the state budget for defense and national security spending,
and in the state budget for 2023, 5.3 billion manat ($3.1 billion)
was approved for spending in this direction, which is 200 million
manat ($117.6 million) more than last year and 17.1 percent more
than in 2021.
The ADEX exhibition creates the conditions for a large-scale
demonstration of the power of the military-industrial complexes of
Azerbaijan and world companies, constructive communication, the
exchange of experience and the establishment of effective ties
between domestic and foreign experts in the military-technical
field.
During the event, the specialists will be able to get acquainted
with the defense complex know-how presented by companies from
different countries, as well as witness the purchasing potential of
the Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies.
The exhibition is an ideal ground for presentation of products
for the navy, aviation and army, as well as Homeland Security
products. Moreover, ADEX facilitates the exchange of experience
among participants, visitors and experts in the sector, and a
chance to upgrade products in accordance with requirements of the
region's defense industry market.
The ADEX 2022 exhibition was attended by 33 military delegations
from 33 countries, including 150 official representatives. The
exhibition featured 208 companies and 10 national groups, as well
as 8,967 professional visitors. The high-ranking guests of the
exhibition included the chief of the general staff of Türkiye, the
defense minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the defense minister of
Belarus, the deputy defense minister of Kazakhstan, the defense
minister of Rwanda and other officials.
The ADEX 2024 exhibition is planned to represent aircraft and
aviation systems, naval vessels and naval systems, armed combat
vehicles, military laboratories, military educational institutions,
logistics services, radio-electronic systems, C4ISR (Command,
Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence, Surveillance and
Reconnaissance), optic-electronic equipment and systems.
Besides, unmanned vehicles, military uniform clothing and
equipment; weapons and ammunition; simulators and training systems;
chemical, biological and radiation (CBR) protection as well as
military organizations; export promotion companies and others will
be also represented at ADEX-2024.
The 14th Securex Caspian exhibition will represent promising
equipment models and integrated security systems and weapons for
law enforcement agencies, and border, rescue and special
services.
It's supported by the Ministry of Defense Industry, the State
Security Service, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the
Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Border Service of
Azerbaijan.
The exhibition is a platform which will helps create favorable
conditions for the development of cooperation and an exchange of
experience, and solve applied problems to ensure the internal
security of the state, society and citizens.
The upcoming Securex Caspian exhibition is planned to represent
such areas as forensic means and systems, operative-search
equipment, access control systems, information security, security
services, rescue means and equipment, security training, video
surveillance systems, special clothing and equipment, fire safety
equipment, and others.
