Indian Oil Corp has joined hands with LanzaJet to set up a sustainable aviation fuel plant in Haryana.

Indian Oil Corp chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya on Wednesday informed that the company will set up a 80,000 tonnes sustainable aviation fuel plant with in Haryana.

The company is looking at an investment of about 23 billion rupees (USD280.1 million), Vaidya said on the sidelines of an industry event in New Delhi.

As per reports, the refiner is also running a pilot project for green fuel in association with Praj Industries in the western state of Maharashtra.
