Newcastle United Extends Sleeve Sponsorship Agreement with Noon for Second Season


(MENAFN) Newcastle United, the football club owned by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced the extension of its sleeve sponsorship agreement with e-commerce platform Noon. As per the press release, the logo of Saudi-based Noon will continue to feature on the sleeve of Newcastle's first-team kit during all competitions.

Since 2021, Newcastle United has been under the ownership of a consortium led by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, with PIF holding an 80 percent stake in the club. RB Sports & Media and PCP Capital Partners each hold a 10 percent stake. The extension of the sponsorship deal reflects the continued collaboration between Noon and the football club.

The press release also highlighted the convenience for fans, as they will be able to access Newcastle United's kits through the noon.com mobile application. Saudi Arabia-based fans can expect next-day delivery, while those in the UAE can receive their orders within 15 minutes.

Ali Kafil-Hussain, Chief of Staff at noon.com, expressed excitement about the partnership's second season, emphasizing the success they have achieved together thus far. He believes that there are limitless possibilities in their collaboration with Newcastle United, promising to bring even more value to customers and fans in the future.

Peter Silverstone, Chief Commercial Officer at Newcastle United, acknowledged the significant role that Noon has played in expanding the team's fanbase across Saudi Arabia. The partnership has been instrumental in strengthening the club's presence and engagement with supporters in the region.
