Katara Hosts Exhibit For Creative Persons With Special Needs

Doha, Qatar: An exhibit showcasing the artworks made by students enrolled in the centers of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs (QSRSN) can now be viewed at Katara Hall No. 18.

The event is organised annually at the end of each academic year by the Cultural Village Foundation, Katara and QSRSN.

It was inaugurated by Katara Deputy Director General and Director of Human Resources Department, Saif Saad Al Dosari, and QSRSN Board of Directors member, Talib Afifa.

Afifa explained that the exhibition is in its second year. "It presents the various artworks made by the students of the centers, which demonstrate their capabilities and skills. We thank Katara for all the support and great interest they have provided us."

For his part, the association's advisor, Dr. Tariq Al Asawi said:“The association runs several centers, including the educational rehabilitation centre for girls, the rehabilitation center for boys, and the cultural and social center. These centres include people with mental, simple and moderate disabilities, cases of Down syndrome, autism, and dual disabilities. These exhibitions produce many talents annually in various fields of arts, and show us the capabilities and skills of students to express their arts."
