IRBIL, May 27 (KUNA) - Kurdistan's Irbil Educational Museum, which used to receive students in the city until 2014, is now set to welcome visitors who are interested in the educational history of the ancient city in Iraq's Kurdistan Region.
Irbil Ula School, which was established as the first school in central Irbil in 1920, serves as the first-of-its-kind museum in Iraq that tells educational stories of hundred years in the city.
It abounds in photos of teachers and students, documents, archives, class materials, desks, boards and books, and occasionally hosts various educational activities, enabling the facility to attract Iraqi and foreign students and tourists to get familiar with the old city's educational history.
