Hitler Speeches Blared on Austrian Train, OBB Investigating

(MENAFN) A series of offensive incidents have recently plagued Austrian railways, with the most recent occurrence happening on Sunday during a train journey from Bregenz to Vienna. Passengers were subjected to the blaring of "Hitler speeches" through the train's loudspeakers, marking yet another offensive broadcast incident. David Stogmuller, a Green Party Member of Parliament, happened to be on board at the time and shared footage of the episode on Twitter.

According to Stogmuller, the initial messages played on the loudspeakers were seemingly harmless and even amusing. However, the tone abruptly shifted when a speech by Hitler began to resonate throughout the train, accompanied by the chilling refrain of "Sieg Heil" in the background. The sudden transition left passengers deeply disturbed, and the train attendant appeared unsure of how to respond to the alarming situation.

Austrian Federal Railways (OBB) has acknowledged the issue and expressed its awareness of the "disturbing announcements" that occurred on the train. The railway operator has made it clear that it distances itself from the content of these offensive messages. OBB has assured the public that it is actively investigating the matter and aims to identify and rectify the underlying technical faults responsible for such incidents as soon as possible.
