DPS-MIS Takes Part In THIMUN Qatar Conference


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A group of 19 delegates from DPS-Modern Indian School participated in the 12th annual THIMUN, Qatar Conference, 2023. The four-day event brought together over 500 students from across the world to discuss and debate important global issues. DPS team, consisting of Azhar Jaleel Mohamed, Daiwik Dhar, Vaibhavi Reddy, Vaidehi Rogiye, Leen Sameer, Abid Siyad and Priyankshu Dev Burman, won the second place in the Global Act with Impact Award programme. Sanskriti Pathania and Vidit Dalal served as the deputy secretary general and Mohamed Saad chaired GA-1 which focused on Disarmament and International Security, debating important global issues such as small arms proliferation, cyber warfare, and nuclear disarmament. The delegation was accompanied by Amir Khan and Jolly Sabu.
