Amman, Mar 23 (Petra)-- A new aid convoy, including seven trucks loaded with medical, relief and humanitarian materials provided by the Kingdom, arrived Thursday in Syria through the Nassib border crossing.
"Jordanian aid continues to reach our brothers in Syria, as the new convoy includes medical, relief and humanitarian materials, including an integrated Comprehensive renal replacement therapy (dialysis) unit with all its medical supplies and equipment," the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) cited Chargé d'Affaires of the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus, Basil Al-Kayed, as saying.
"With the arrival of these trucks, the number of land bridge trucks that have arrived in Syria so far has reached 138 trucks carrying hundreds of tons of medical and humanitarian materials, which is a continuation and confirmation of His Majesty King Abdullah's directives to provide every aid possible for the brothers in Syria to overcome the ordeal of the earthquake," Al-Kayed concluded.
