(MENAFN- UkrinForm) President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky accepted the invitation to participate in the G7 summit in May in an online format.

'Mr. Prime Minister Kishida invited me to participate in the summit of the Group of Seven which is scheduled for May in the city of Hiroshima. I accepted the invitation to participate in the online format,' President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida is visiting Ukraine on Tuesday.

The 49th G7 summit will be held in Hiroshima, Japan, on May 19-21.
