Astana, March 18 (Petra) - Kazakhstan's economy minister Saturday said Kazakhstan's economy showed a 'high ability to adapt' despite the unprecedentedly high global inflation, the increase in interest rates, and the disturbances in the supply and demand chains.
Minister Alibek Kuantyrov told reporters in Astana that Kazakhstan's economy grew in 2022 by 3.2 per cent, according to preliminary data, with an increase in investment and foreign trade being the main drivers.
Kuantyrov added that redirecting trade flows led to a 'significant' increase in international trade volumes in 2022 as exports increased by 32.1 per cent and amounted to USD134.4 billion.
