OIC To Hold 49Th Session Of Council Of Foreign Ministers In Nouakchott On March 16

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah, March 14, 2023, SPA – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is scheduled to hold the 49th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC Member States on March 16 and 17 in Nouakchott, Mauritania, under the theme: 'Centrism and moderation: the valve of security and stability', where OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha is expected to address the opening session.
The session will discuss several topics including political, economic, cultural, social, scientific, humanitarian, media and other issues. The Palestinian issue and the latest developments in Jerusalem will be at the top of the session's agenda in light of Israel's continued attacks on the Palestinian people.
