General Auditing Bureau President Receives President Of The Accounts Chamber Of Azerbaijan

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, March 05, 2023, SPA -- President of the General Court of Auditors, Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari, received today in Riyadh the President of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, Vugar Gulmammadov, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Kingdom, Shahin Abdullayev.
Dr. Al-Anqari highlighted the importance of the visit, which aims to enhance cooperation and joint work between the two sides, within the framework of international and regional organizations of supreme institutions of public financial control and accounting in which the two bodies are members.
Gulmamadov stressed his keenness to enhance cooperation between the two agencies in joint work.
The two sides held a meeting to discuss means to enhance and activate several issues of common interest. The visiting delegation was also briefed on the Bureau's experiences in financial audit and performance control.
The parties signed a memorandum of understanding in May 2022, for cooperation in accounting, auditing, and professional work, including the exchange of experiences and the organization of training programs in financial auditing, compliance, and performance control.
