KSA uses OECD gathering to discuss reinforcing financial cooperation with European nations


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia, participating in the OECD ministerial meeting, discussed the possibilities of strengthening economic cooperation with several European countries.

The international conference in Paris, France discussed the role of responsible business behavior in the global Economy and the contribution of the private sector to economic growth. During the meeting, the Kingdom's Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Ibrahim, explored ways to promote economic sustainability and digitization.

According to the statement, Ibrahim met with French Minister of Economy, Finance, Industry and Digital Sovereignty Bruno Le Maire to explore ways to strengthen economic relations between the two countries and address issues of mutual interest. In addition to this, the Minister of Economy and Planning also had an exchange with Dimitri Kirkentz, Secretary General of the Bureau of International Exhibitions, to review the Kingdom's efforts to host the Riyadh Expo 2030.

Ibrahim also had a conversation with Emmanuel Bonn, diplomatic adviser to the French President, about the latest economic situation and the most visible issues of common interest.

In addition, together with OECD Secretary General Mathias Coleman, the minister reviewed the Kingdom's economic progress within the framework of Vision 2030 and possible opportunities for joint cooperation between the Kingdom and the organization.
