Amir Abdollahian assures U.S. restrictions strategy certain to fail
(MENAFN) The United States’ policy of implementing restrictions on additional countries, particularly the Islamic Republic as well as certain South American nations, has come under criticism from Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, who assured that this plan is certain to failure.
In a gathering previously on Sunday with his Cuban fellow, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, Iran's head diplomat stated that “The United States' approach of imposing unilateral sanctions on other countries and bullying are certain to fail.”
on July 11, 2022, Amir Abdollahian condemned Washington's efforts to provoke unpredictability in Cuba as well as interfering in the nation’s local matters.
Iran's foreign minister assured that the U.S. and some additional Western countries, “pursue the hybrid policy of levying sanctions and interference in other countries' affairs via fueling and promoting protests in sovereign countries of the world.”
He continued to add that political relations among Tehran and Havana are at the top level due to the two states being on the same page, driving toward the same targets in their attempts to sustain their independence and deny unilateralism.
