Ambassador: New German provision chain law proposes chances for Turkey


(MENAFN) Germany's additional "Supply chain duty of care act," which become operational this month, is a positive chance for nations like Turkey, in line with the German envoy to Ankara.

"When it comes to supply and basic products in German supply chains, Türkiye is among the most important countries," Jurgen Schulz informed Anadolu.

Hence, this law offers several chances for even more powerful collaboration among both nations, he also mentioned.

Pointing out that the German economy had a powerful international network, he stated that its firms and their worldwide associates established a great agreement of employment in additional nations and grew their welfare.

He continued: "Especially since we have a very good international network, Germany obliges its companies to respect human rights in their global supply chains." Our aim is to improve the human rights situation in global supply chains. For example, 'Made in Germany' brand are not compatible with forced or child labor."
