The Egyptian champion Lama Yasser Hozayen, wonThe Arab Fencing Championship, held in the capital of Bahrain from January 16 to 19.

Lama defeated Egyptian champion Sarah Bayoumi in the final match, 15-3, while Salma Tariq finished third after losing to Lama Yasser in the semi-finals, giving Egypt three medals.

In the men's fencing competition, the Egyptian team read“Mohamed El-Sayed, Mahmoud Mohsen, and Mahmoud El-Sayed” and“Lama Yasser, Sarah Bayoumi, and Salma Tariq” in the women's swords competitions.

Alaa Abu Al-Qasim, Muhammad Hamza, and Abdel Rahman Hafour compete in the men's fencing competition, while“Yara Al-Sharqawi, Noura Munir, and Noha Hani” compete in the women's fencing competition.
