Kuwait Assistant FM Lauds Ties With Thailand


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Ambassador Sami Al-Hamad commended ties with Thailand in the economic, commercial, investment, tourism and healthcare fields.
In a statement made on the sidelines of a reception held by Thailand Embassy in Kuwait on its National Day, Al-Hamad affirmed Kuwait's eagerness to develop these relations and find a chance for broader partnership on all levels.
Upon the directives of Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait makes continued efforts for further cooperation with all sisterly and friendly countries to develop commercial and economic ties to create investment opportunities inside and outside Kuwait, he elaborated.
Meanwhile, the Charge d'Affaires of Thailand's Embassy to Kuwait lauded bilateral relations, referring that the diplomatic ties between the two sides which began in 1963.
Thailand and Kuwait have friendly ties in all fields, including trade, investment, tourism, healthcare, education, agriculture and consular affairs amongst others, he said. (end)
