Kuwait Naval Force Commander Receives Egyptian Peer

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 29 (KUNA) -- The Commander of the Kuwait Naval Force (KNF) Commodore Hazza Al-Alati received visiting Egyptian Vice Admiral Ashraf Mujahed and his accompanying delegation at Mohammad Al-Ahmad base.
Both sides discussed topics of common concern and means to enhance defense cooperation, Kuwait's Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Egyptian delegation visited several Kuwaiti naval units and bases, where they were briefed on Kuwait's efforts to upgrade its naval forces.
Vice Admiral Mujahed lauded KNF's vital and effective role, wishing Kuwait further progress and prosperity, according to the statement. (end)
