“According to the official notification we have received from the Maritime Administration of the Russian Federation, the passage of ships, loaded outside the Russian Federation, to the north through the Kerch Strait into the Sea of Azov is prohibited,” the report states.
A reminder that last year, before the Russian full-scale invasion even started, the Ukrainian delegation at the OSCE stated that Russia was using its military presence in the temporarily occupied Crimea to restrict freedom of navigation through the Kerch Strait and gradually transform the Sea of Azov into its 'inland lake'.
