(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Oct 18 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Tuesday a phone call from Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
In his call, the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman hailed the recent parliamentary elections in Kuwait and congratulated His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Mishal on the recent formation of a new government and the inauguration of the National Assembly's new legislative term earlier today.
For his part, His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal sincerely thanked Prince Mohammad bin Salman on the fraternal call.
He also spoke highly about the strong and historical bonds linking the two sisterly countries and the two Royal families.
He expressed admiration of the Saudi Kingdom's enormous achievements under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman and wished the Saudi Kingdom further progress and welfare. (end)
