SDAIA: Saudi Arabia creates AI-driven economy to make it highest nations in technology


(MENAFN) The agency’s deputy director stated that the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority is targeting to produce a top data and AI-driven economy and make Saudi Arabia one of the highest nations in the technology.

Mishari Al-Mishari, the deputy chief of SDAIA, informed Arab News on the offshoots of the Global AI conference in Riyadh that SDAIA was established to be the protector of the national agenda on data and AI.

He stated that “SDAIA was created to have an entity that will be the custodian of the national agenda of data and artificial intelligence to create a leading data and AI-driven economy.”

The meeting, which SDAIA arranged, held up to 30,000 hybrids and in-person attendees and had officials from at least 90 nations, he stated.

He also mentioned that “In this summit, we didn’t restrict it to the dialogues and the discussion; we emphasized the experience as well.”
