Kuwait Amir Representative, Iraqi PM Mull Cementing Ties

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) NEW YORK, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received Wednesday at his residence in New York City Prime Minister of Iraq Mustafa Al-Kadhimi.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, was also attended by Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of His Highness the Prime Minister's Diwan Sheikh Khaled Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Director of the Office of His Highness the Prime Minister Hamad Bader Al-Amer and Kuwait Ambassador to the United States Jasem Albudaiwi.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf and Iraqi Premier Al-Kadhimi discussed means to upgrade bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples as well as issues of common interest on the agenda of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. (end)
