Global financial centers to become greener, digital, collaborative by 2030


(MENAFN) According to research by the Dubai International Financial Centre, prosperous financial centers throughout the world is going to become more environmentally friendly, digital, inclusive, and collaborative by 2030 in response to global macroeconomic difficulties that call for sustainable investment.

Based on the financial free zone of the emirate on Sunday, Global financial centers are going to be crucial in attracting and keeping the finest personnel by providing appealing working conditions.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, changing demographics, and the need for sustainable financial growth, according to research conducted by the DIFC in partnership with the World Alliance of International Financial Centres and London-based consultancy Z/Yen Group, is going to be the main factors driving the change.

According to Arif Amiri, CEO of the DIFC Authority, the document " contains important recommendations that need to be converted into objectives that are best delivered through collaboration between financial centres."

It added, “embedding the deliverables will allow financial centres to increase their contribution to the global economy, while providing opportunities for clients to innovate, be more inclusive and sustainable.”
