Turkmenistan And Saudi Arabia Discuss Key Aspects Of Bilateral Cooperation
BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 24. Political consultations were held in Turkmenistan between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Trend reports citing the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The delegation of Turkmenistan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Berdyniyaz Myatiev, Saudi Arabia - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al Khuraiji.
During the consultations, the sides discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as topical international issues.
At the same time, it was stated that Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia are developing a broad and multi-level political and diplomatic dialogue on strengthening regional and global stability, as well as making joint efforts to implement the Sustainable Development Goals.
Furthermore, the importance of mutual support within the framework of major international organizations, primarily the UN, was emphasized.
A separate topic of discussion was the creation and development of the necessary conditions for attracting investment in various sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, the implementation of promising infrastructure projects and industrial cooperation.
