
1,023 Ukrainian Settlements Liberated From Russian Invaders
The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko at a briefing , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Currently, a total of 1,023 settlements have been deoccupied,” Tymoshenko said.
In his words, the damaged infrastructure is being repaired in Sumy Region. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service continues demining efforts in such settlements as Brody, Okhtyrka, Klymentove and Liudzha.
In Zhytomyr Region, such settlements as Memech and Sholomky are being cleared from mines. Roof repair works are underway in Malyn and Yurivka.
In Kharkiv Region, electricity supply services resumed for 260 households in such settlements as Cherkaska Lozova and Kulynychi, and for 500 households in Malynivka.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, extensively firing at Ukrainian cities and villages with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, air bombs and ballistic missiles.
