185 Slovak Tourists Land In Aqaba Via Chartered Flight Supported By JTB
Aqaba, June 8 (Petra) -- A Slovakian jet carrying 185 tourists took off from Bratislava and landed at the King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba this morning.
This is the first trip this year under a Jordan Tourism Board's (JTB) weekly flight program introduced in partnership with charter airlines. The program will operate until the end of the year, with an average stay of seven to fourteen nights per arrival.
Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, Director General of JTB, stated that the arrival of Slovak tourists via the Hydro Tours firm, which is supported by the JTB, will boost tourism with an occupancy rate of 7,000 hotel rooms at five-star hotels during the months of July and June.
