Kuwait Receives FIFA World Cup Trophy

KUWAIT, May 16 (KUNA) -- Kuwait hosted the FIFA World Cup Trophy on Monday, which is the third stop in the Trophy's tour in the GCC before the kick start of the World Cup Qatar 2022 in November.
The World Cup Trophy arrived in Kuwait along with the Brazilian former football player, Gilberto Silva. Receiving him at the airport was the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah and General Secretary Salah Al-Qenaei.
Several former players of the Kuwaiti National Football Team attended the reception. (end)
