Solution of problems of mine explosions victims necessary - UN coordinator
BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 1. It is necessary to solve the problems of victims of mine explosions and we must join forces to build a mine-free world, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva said at the opening of the 'Humanitarian de-mining and sustainable development goals' international conference, Trend reports.
According to her, the de-mining process is important for the safety of people and communities.
“We all want to go home, but if the territories are not cleared, the person will not be able to feel at home. The mine threat is very high,” Andreeva emphasized.
