Qatar - Customs confiscates banned pills from passenger at HIA

Doha: The General Authority of customs at Hamad International Airport (HIA) seized 150 banned pills from a passenger.
The forbidden pills were found inside a carton belonging to the inbound passenger.

In a post on Twitter, Customs shared photos and stated that during checking by customs officers several medicines were found, including various narcotic pills.
The authorities have been issuing continuous warnings against carrying illegal substances into the country.
Customs officers are provided with all means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and be aware of the latest methods followed by smugglers.
