(MENAFN- Ajad Comms) Jeddah, KSA —December 7, 2021: Zoho Corp., the global technology company offering the most extensive suite of business software, announced the opening of its first Saudi Arabia office in Jeddah. The company witnessed a growth of 70% in the country in 2021.
"Saudi Arabia remains a key market for Zoho, and we expect more growth in the coming years as the kingdom sets ambitious plans to lead the MEA region's next stage of digital transformation. We have been hiring locally and with the Jeddah office open, we plan to double our headcount by next year. We will continue to invest in the country and help local businesses and communities," said Izzeddin Almozayen, Regional Manager, MEA, Zoho Corp. "Depending on our growth in different geographies, we may open more offices in other cities."
Zoho, which completed 25 years of being in business this year, has been following 'transnational localism', wherein its growth is locally rooted while it remains globally connected through shared knowledge and culture. "At Zoho, we staunchly believe that overall economic development stems out of an interconnected network of strong, self-reliant regional clusters. With that in mind, we are always committed towards supporting local economies in their growth journey. This growth model is what we call 'transnational localism'," added Izzeddin Almozayen.
As part of its regional growth efforts, Zoho recently hosted a workshop in Jeddah to educate local businesses about FATOORA, the e-invoicing regulation that is to come into effect from December 4, and will host an online version of the workshop on December 6.. In September 2021, The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) announced Zoho Books, ZATCA-accredited, VAT-compliant, online double-entry accounting software from Zoho, as a qualified e-invoicing solution provider.
