Amir meets Bill Gates in Doha

Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
Bill Gates expressed appreciation to the Amir for the efforts of Qatar in humanitarian and development work around the world, especially the humanitarian efforts in support of the Afghan people.
During the meeting, the existing relations between the two sides and prospects for its development were reviewed, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
