Crude oil sales increase significantly in Iran

(MENAFN) According to Shana, Javad Oji, Oil Minister of Iran has stated that the nation’s crude oil sales in the present Iranian calendar year (started on March 21) have jumped significantly in comparison to last year.

Oji stated, “the Oil Ministry has published a report on the oil sales as well as the exports of natural gas and petrochemical products over the past 100 days, according to which the figures have increased drastically compared to last year.”

During an assembly with the associates of the Parliament Energy Committee in mid-November, Oji declared that new opportunities have been opened for the nation’s crude sales through the present volumes and the ministry had accomplished new achievements in this matters.

Back in September, Oji had stated that his ministry was aiming to rise the nation’s oil exports in spite of the penalties imposed by the U.S., mentioning that the utilization of oil restrictions as a “political tool” would damage the market.
