Moderate weather conditions prevail countrywide for weekend
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 15 (Petra) Moderate weather conditions are forecast to prevail, on Friday, countrywide, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the port city of Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
A chance for scattered showers in the southern and eastern parts is expected, the JMD added, warning of slippery roads due to such rainfall.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD noted.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 32 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees.
Highs in the port city of Aqaba will hike up to 36 degrees, sliding to 25 degrees at night.
