KSrelief Holds Workshop on Electronic Platform for Documenting Foreign Aid to the Kingdom


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, October 7, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) organized at its headquarters in Riyadh today an introductory workshop on the Kingdom's foreign aid online platform, which is aimed to internationally register and document the country's humanitarian and development aid provided to other nations.
The workshop was held with the participation of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Education, Finance, Health, Economy and Planning, Environment, Water and Agriculture, Energy, and Media, in addition to Saudi Fund for Development, Saudi Red Crescent Authority, General Directorate of Civil Defense, and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program For Yemen, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, General Directorate of Passports, King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation, and Al-Waleed Humanitarian Foundation.
During the event, KSrelief Director of the Research and Information Department, Makki Hamed, gave a visual presentation to introduce the Saudi aid platform and its objectives, which was inaugurated by King Salman bin Abdulaziz in 2018.
He highlighted the importance of documenting humanitarian and development aid in the international platforms.
