US, 11 countries greet polls in Iraq on 10th Oct.
(MENAFN) A lot of countries, counting the US and states in Europe, greeted the Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission’s arrangements for polls that will be held October 10th.
According to the states’ top representatives report "This early election is an opportunity for Iraqi voters to democratically determine their future."
They comprised the US, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden also the UK.
The report also showed "We recognize the importance of this moment in Iraqi history. In response to requests from the Iraqi people, substantial resources have been mobilized in support of free and fair elections."
