Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai announces key staff promotions

DUBAI, UAE (October 5, 2021) – Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai has promoted Shahzad Khan from director of operations to executive assistant manager, and Diaa Abdelhady from assistant front office manager to front office manager.
Shahzad Khan has more than 20 years of hospitality experience in the Gulf region. He first joined the property in 2014 as rooms division manager, and was eventually promoted to director of operations in 2018. Prior to his role at Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai, he was the cluster front office manager at Vida Downtown Dubai and Manzil Downtown Dubai. His other previous hotel affiliations in the UAE include Ajman Hotel and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort.
Diaa Abdelhady has moved up the career ladder and has been named as the hotel’s front office manager. Diaa moved from Rotana as front office team leader to join the pre-opening team of Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Dubai JBR where he worked as front office supervisor. He was eventually promoted as duty manager / night manager before moving to Ramada by Wyndham Downtown Dubai.
