(MENAFN) Aziz Sancar, who is a Turkish Nobel laureate in chemistry, joined the top-notch technology occasion Teknofest, and stated that it "made me really proud."
Sancar announced during his speech “I came here to promote science and technology in Turkey and the Turkish world. What I saw here really made me proud and encouraged me."
He added that upcoming Nobel Prize champions are able to appear in Teknofest, also he called everyone to make efforts for humanity, and advised "Do science, do technology."
Moreover, Sancar urged the youth to "work hard, stay determined even when things do not go well, and work with the mindset of 'either I conquer it or it conquers me' as Mehmet the Conqueror (Ottoman sultan) said", and declared "Do not forget the love for your country. Nothing can be done without it."
